is set to be roasted by a mechanical robot in the very first act of Britain’s Got Talent, which returns tomorrow night.
The series will be , with judges , , and taking their places next to Simon, and unable to hold back their laughter Titan the robot goes in on the media mogul.
The comedy routine, which was shared in a teaser clip, involves the contestant doing famous impressions, including the voice of legendary broadcaster and national treasure Sir .
Urged on by a cheering audience, Titan introduces himself: ‘I’m here to shine, and do things my way.’
He certainly does do things in his way, as the robot goes one step further than just any old imitation, and in true-Attenborough style commentates on the wildlife around him, including one of the judges sat in front of him.
Matching the 95-year-old naturalist’s voice almost exactly, Titan begins: ‘And here we have the lesser-spotted, majestic, Simon Cowell.
‘This creature lives an honest and basic existence, and can often be seen jet-skiing off the coast of Barbados, with one simple thought running through its mind.’
Titan then begins dancing as I’m Too Sexy starts playing, and the audience and judges erupt in laughter.
Simon takes the roasting like a champ, and doesn’t hit the red buzzer out of embarrassment, even bopping along to the tune.
The rest of the show promises to not disappoint too, as first look pictures revealed Loren Allred, who famously sang Never Enough in smash hit movie The Greatest Showman, finally gaining a spotlight and belting out a song.
Loren is a 32-year-old American singer and actress who made her Billboard Hot 100 debut with the platinum-selling Never Enough.
She does not feature in the film, however, as Rebecca Ferguson plays the role of musician Jenny Lind.
It seems now she’s after her big break and wants to break free from being a background singer and take the spotlight herself.
Time will tell how she gets on in the competition as she competes against Titan, illusionists, quick-change acts and even a man dressed as a crow for a place in the live shows.
Britain’s Got Talent returns to ITV from 8pm on Saturday, April 16 and 7.35pm on Sunday, April 17.
