is finally after a long break away.
It’s been two years since the ITV talent show has entertained us on the weekend thanks to the restrictions that came with you-know-what.
But at long last, the show is set to come back bigger and better than ever, as a newly-released first look at the 15th series is proving.
Judges , , and will all be making their grand return on the programme, along with some of the best – and not-so-great – talents from across the UK and Ireland.
And, of course, bringing us on every step of the way will be legendary duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
A brand-new clip released by ITV on Thursday suggests everything we love about the show will be making a return, from performing dogs to magic tricks, incredible musical performances and dangerous stunts.
Of course, half the fun is watching the judges row with each other, and it looks like there’s plenty of that to come, with the clip showing Amanda taking over Simon’s buzzer to make him reject the performer (how the tables have turned!).
Shocking and tense moments also look set to return in their abundance, with more than a few clips showing Amanda, David, Simon and Alesha screaming, clapping their hands over their mouth or covering their eyes.
Fans of the show don’t have long to wait at all, with the new series returning to ITV on Saturday, April 16 and continuing with a brand-new episode on Sunday.
Ant and Dec previously announced the fantastic news of the show’s imminent return on Wednesday, with a dramatic video clip.
‘It’s been such a long time since Britain’s Got Talent has been on our screens,’ Dec began along with some sombre music before the mood turned to pure joy as they announced the show would be back within weeks.
Filming of the 15th series had been scheduled to begin early last year, however production was delayed before .
Last month, the programme announced it would be returning this year with a teaser clip including a compilation of some of its most famous auditions.
Offering a taste of what’s to come, the clip even showed Ant and Dec behind-the-scenes of one of this year’s auditions, with Ant exclaiming: ‘That’s what it’s all about!’
Britain’s Got Talent first began all the way back in June 2007, and quickly became a staple of British TV.
The latest series, all the way back in 2020, saw be crowned the overall winner.
Britain’s Got Talent begins on Saturday, April 16 on ITV and continues on Sunday, April 17.
