De’voreaux White played Bruce’s limousine driver Argyle in the blockbuster, and the pair reunited for an Auto Parts advert in 2019, two years before Bruce’s family announced he would no longer be acting due to the symptoms of his aphasia.

Recalling the ‘awesome’ experience, De’voreaux revealed he was on the set when Bruce tapped him on the shoulder.

The Willis family have had a tough few years, first revealing Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia, which causes difficulty with speech, language and comprehension.

In February, they posted a lengthy joint statement, confirming that he had since been diagnosed with FTD.

Frontotemporal dementia is an ‘uncommon’ form of the disease that causes the sufferer problems with behavior and language – there are currently no treatments for the condition.

The star is currently being cared for at home by wife Emma, who he shares two daughters with: Mabel, 11, and nine-year-old Evelyn.

He also has older children Rumer, 35, Scout, 32 and Tallulah, 29, with ex-wife Demi Moore.

Rumer recently became a mother for the first time, welcoming daughter Louetta, Bruce’s first grandchild.

And in November, Rumer shared a heartwrenching post with a photograph of Bruce holding her as a baby.

‘Really missing my papa today,’ she captioned the sweet post.

Her sister Tallulah recently appeared on the Drew Barrymore Show where she was asked for an update on how Bruce is coping.

Discussing how his health is now, Tallulah said: ‘He is the same, which I think in this regard I’ve learned is the best thing you can ask for.

‘I see love when I’m with him. It’s my dad and he loves me, which is really special.’
