Celebrity Juice viewers were left stunned this week after licked ’s ear during a bizarre segment on the famously bizarre show.
The Keith Lemon-fronted ITV show’s ’s Hole in the Wall segment saw the duo – joined by Johnny Vegas, Rachel Riley, Aitch and Raye – tasked with sampling a range of mystery items.
Team captain Emily was up first as the 32-year-old actress stuck her tongue in the host’s ear after she correctly guessed her first item as squeezy cheese.
Things took a turn when The Inbetweeners star was left tasting Laura’s ear as she shrieked: ‘Oh my God it’s someone’s ear!’
However, that was actually pretty tame compared to poor Johnny’s experience, which first saw him correctly guessing a ‘dirty mop’.
Then, Keith pulled out a ‘bag of sick’ with the panel gasping and retching as Johnny placed the vomit on his tongue, and initially asked: ‘Is it f***ing dog food?’
That might have actually been kinder, but the outrageous host replied: ‘No Johnny, it was a bag of sick!’
The comedian admitted he accidentally ‘swallowed some’ which left Laura and Rachel averting their eyes and covering their mouths.
He then ran around the studio, shouting at the host: ‘You promised me it would be real food!’
Not surprisingly, the segment left viewers divided, with some branding the segment ‘just not funny’.
‘I used to actually enjoy Celebrity Juice,’ tweeted one viewer, while another added: ‘Should’ve stopped years ago, it’s all a bit tragic now.’
Not everyone was critical though, with plenty of others howling over the episode.
‘Brilliant #celebrityjuice as always. Craics me up. More @RachelRileyRR on it in future hopefully. She’s so funny,’ wrote one fan, and another said: ‘Celebrity juice is honestly the best thing on TV!’
Fans know what to expect from the show at this point, and ahead of the latest series Emily had promised the programme would be ‘naughtier than ever’.
‘It’s Celebrity Juice, so yes! Keith is naughtier than ever,’ she said. ‘I’m so grateful we’re back. And it’s my first time as team captain with a full audience. We honestly all cried when we did the first recording. It was emotional.’
Celebrity Juice airs Thursdays at 10pm on ITV.
