The reality star confirmed the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday with a heartwarming video that shared a glimpse at her positive pregnancy test.
Alongside the clip, in which she could be seen informing her family of their baby news, she wrote: ‘A moment I wasn’t sure would ever be mine ??? is here.
’It’s mine (and Jakes) and i couldn’t be happier to be sharing it with you all……Im having a baby [sic].’
The personality also shared a candid video on her YouTube channel, where she gave her 7.7million followers more of an insight into her pregnancy journey.
Part way through, while enjoying a swim in the pool during a recent holiday to Abu Dhabi, Charlotte shared that she had become creative with using drinks as props on nights out to throw 32-year-old Sophie off the scent.
Speaking to the camera, she admitted: ‘It’s four days until I tell Holly and Sophie. I can’t tell you how hard it has been, keeping this from two people who know us better than anyone.’
Revealing how close Sophie had come to guessing the truth, she continued: ‘Especially Sophie, because I’m with her all the time, I don’t know how I’ve done it. There’s been a couple of times that she’s actually been guessing, and she’s asked us a couple of times, “You haven’t been out in a while, are you pregnant?” and I’m like, “No! Just haven’t fancied it…”
‘Sometimes when I’m out with my friends, I have to hold their glass of wine in a Boomerang so that Sophie thinks that I am drinking,’ she said as she unveiled her top tip, saying it was an attempt to ‘try and throw her off the scent’.
The 31-year-old also told her viewers that she ‘cannot wait’ to let her closest pals know as it would ‘feel like a weight lifted off my shoulders’.
Charlotte and her partner Jake Ankers met through mutual friends and , before making their romance Instagram official in January.
