has admitted he was ‘worried’ about being ‘ruthlessly critical’ on Celebrity .

However, he was worried about what the cameras might catch him saying in his new role as a TV sofa critic.
Chris explained that his stepdaughter was a ‘great fan’ of Gogglebox, and that he’d watched it ‘from time to time’.
He went on: ‘I was more worried about the fact that they film it in a way where there’s no one in the room, you’re there with just some cameras and I do let rip at things.
‘I do say, in the comfort of my own home, I’m ruthlessly critical of whatever we’re watching.’
Chris also spoke about watching one particular programme on Kate Thornton’s podcast, ?
He said: ‘I love artistry, I admire people who hone their skills, it completely transcends baking of course.
‘I have a sneaking admiration for that, but at the same time, I’m asking why? There’s a lot of skills you can master in life, that’s a strange one to choose.
‘But nevertheless I have a sneaking admiration for people who can make a cake truly look like anything.’
Despite concerns over his criticism, the wildlife expert won over Gogglebox fans, with one saying: ‘I have just discovered Chris Packham on Gogglebox and it is perfection.’
Another said: ‘Chris Packham on every episode of Gogglebox from now on please.’
