Dan Walker penning chapter on ‘incredible’ Strictly co-star Rose Ayling-Ellis for upcoming book

has revealed he will include the story of Strictly 2021 winner and her mum Donna in his second book – released in the months to come.

The host made it to the quarter-finals of last year, alongside partner Nadiya Bychkova.

The pair were a , despite not always hitting the mark with the panel. 

But it was Rose who eventually went on to win the series with Giovanni Pernice after she’d become the first-ever Deaf contestant to take part. 

During her stint, Rose helped to raise awareness of the Deaf community, causing a huge spike in interest for learning British Sign Language.

Her ‘silent dance’ – which saw the music cut for 10 seconds in a mesmerising routine – has been nominated for a alongside stars such as Adele.

So, it’s no surprise Dan wanted to get his Strictly co-star involved in his latest book project.

Sharing a grab of a Zoom call on social media, he told fans: ’What an absolute treat spending a few hours talking to @rose.a.e and her equally amazing mum, Donna.

‘I’m writing a chapter about them in my new book. They are both incredible women.’

His second book will be a follow-up to his 2020 title, Remarkable People: Extraordinary Stories of Everyday Lives.

In it, he recounted inspiring stories of the courage and selflessness of people he has met throughout his career.

It comes just days after it was reported Rose could be from Her Majesty after her work drawing attention to the Deaf community.

claimed the star is in ‘the frame for a gong’ after her groundbreaking performance ‘sent enrolments for sign-language courses soaring.’

‘Not only did she raise awareness about the challenges deaf people face, she was a true inspiration for them – particularly young people. She really did break down boundaries,’ a source told the publication.
