Brendan Cole has shared his first video of his eldest daughter on Instagram with her face visible after previously keeping his kids off social media.
The former professional, 45, shares two children with wife Zoe Webb; nine-year-old daughter Aurelia and son Dante, four.
The couple had made the decision not to share photos or videos of their children with their faces visible until they were old enough to decide for themselves, but Brendan believes the time has come to be able to share more of Aurelia.
The Dancing On Ice finalist shared a sweet video of the pair of them dancing around at home, telling his followers: ‘We have always tried not to post photos of our beautiful children’s faces to the world of social media, at least until we felt they were old enough to make their own decisions about being seen or not.
‘The time has come where my daughter wants to be involved and after spending the last few Sundays on the telebox supporting daddy, I figured it was ok as she is has now well and truly been seen.’
Sharing the sweet clip, he added: ‘This is something she posted to her Instagram account (private).
‘I had no idea what she was doing when she said to me… “do this with me daddy” and low and behold it was suddenly appearing on my feed on the gram!!!!’
Brendan concluded: ‘I really love the fact that’s she’s growing up and turning into a beautiful young lady but would love her to keep her innocence a little longer.’
As well as supporting her dad from the audience, Brendan revealed earlier in the year that Aurelia had even taken to the ice with him, explaining: ‘It’s not often that I get to spend the day at work with my baby girl! Turns out she’s an amazing partner!’
Sunday’s final will see Brendan and his professional partner Vanessa Bauer take on Kimberly Wyatt and her partner Mark Hanretty and Regan Gascoigne and his partner Karina Manta to be crowned winner.
The Dancing On Ice 2022 Finale will air on Sunday, March 27 on ITV at 6.30pm.
