has spoken out about his marriage to after rumours swirled of a split.
The Strangers Things star, 48, has been married to Smile singer Lily, 38, since 2020, and isEthel, 11, and Marnie, 10.

Now David has addressed the rumours after he was asked straight-out how his marriage with the Somewhere Only We Know musician is – and acknowledged they spend a lot of time apart.
He insisted, however, that this is a positive thing.
In an interview with , he said his marriage was ‘ultimately … very good’ but admitted the Hollywood strikes had affected their relationship.
As an actor, he was ‘sitting on the couch depressed as hell’ with ‘nothing to do’.
He continued: ‘My wife likes when I go to work because it’s nice for her to have her life and me to have my life and for us not to just annoy each other by being around all the time.’
He spoke proudly about getting to raise their ‘great’ children, and declared that ‘as our marriage continues, we grow closer and closer.’
Previously, sources claimed to that Lily and David’s marriage was struggling after she began starring in a while David remained in the US.
The insider alleged that they have ‘barely been together for the past three months and have been living separate lives,’ saying David was only seen at one performance of ‘before Lily was left by herself.’
Even when Lily had time off it would be spent ‘with mates in London or her kids,’ they said.

Taking to Instagram, Lily posted a very smiley snap from their special day, looking gorgeous in her unique wedding dress as she beamed up at her other half.
She wrote in her caption: ‘3 years with this guy, 2nd best decision I ever made. 1st was that dress.’
