Following coverage of her remarks, TV star Davina, 56, revealed she was ‘upset’ by what was being implied by the reporting.

After her comments made headlines, Davina insisted on her Instagram Stories that she was simply joking.
‘This upsets me. I said this as a joke on a podcast,’ she wrote alongside a screengrab of the article’s headline.
She added: ‘I totally love @kylieminogue… and she knows that.’
During the discussion on Richard Herring’s podcast, the 56-year-old TV personality said that she was no longer friends with the Love at First Sight singer.
‘How could I forget dancing for Kylie? It was the highlight of my career. I was quite good friends with Kylie and we used to hang out. We are not friends now. That is too complicated,’ she shared, as per .
She then added: ‘It is weird you lose touch with people. She changed her phone number and did not give me the new one. No, that is a joke… or is it?’
Davina also explained that she secured her role in the music video, which came before her TV breakthrough, thanks to her ‘hustler’ mindset.
‘I was running nightclubs at the time and she lost her director of the video and me being the constant hustler I said, “If I get you a director, can I be a dancer in your video?”’ she remembered.
