While most might be a bit hesitant to risk their , Denise has said she doesn’t have an issue with it.
Appearing on on Tuesday, the former star decided to bare all (figuratively) during a discussion about parents being n**ed.n**ed in front of their children.
The former Big Breakfast star admitted she was regularly nude in front of her daughter.
‘I do walk around n**ed.n**ed at home in front of my daughter, there’s only the two of us in the house, and I always have done,’ she said.
‘Sometimes I walk in the shower and she’s like “mum, please put some clothes on!” but I don’t know when the cut-off point would be, she’s 13 now, but I just do.
‘When I grew up, my family were all very like everybody was hiding everything and I just wanted to be a little bit more open and especially about the female form.’
She added: ‘I want her to feel confident, and also to see their imperfections as well, which I think is really important for girls to see and understand that they’re just normal.’
Speaking about her ‘ageing’ body, Denise said that when ‘everything starts to go a little bit grey’ she’ll ‘stop’, but until then she was ‘just going to let it all out and be free’.
She then explained that being nude broke down some barriers.
‘I have some of my real heart to heart chats with Betsy when we’re in that environment because you’re bare aren’t you?,’ she said.
‘She’ll come in and sit on the toilet when I’m having a shower and we’ll have a chat. I think it’s so important for them to understand as well, especially me as a mother to a daughter, about the female form.
‘I’ve got scars and things from operations; we chat about it just to see that there are imperfections and things to accept about your body. I think it’s important.’
Also appearing on the show was Strictly star Gorka Marquez, who is currently expecting his second child with partner, actress Gemma Atkinson.
During the chat he also said the couple didn’t have a problem being n**ed.n**ed in front of three-year-old daughter, Mia.
‘In our house it’s a good thing to be open and comfortable being n**ed.n**ed because it shows your kids how to be confident in themselves, in their own skin, it’s a natural thing,’ he explained.
Last year Denise with 55-year-old property developer Jimmy Barba, whom she initially tried to keep out of the public eye.
The news of their romance came shortly after she split from longtime partner Eddie Boxshall, who she was with for seven years.
Also speaking on Steph’s Packed Lunch, in November Denise said when they started dating they had to ‘stay indoors for most of our first dates’ as they wanted to get to know each other
She joked that when they had their first public date they ‘let loose and just went crazy’.
