As well as drama onscreen, there has been plenty of drama behind the scenes of the picture in the run-up to its release on September 23.

There have been rumours of a feud between Olivia and Florence, that , as well as the bizarre accusation that Harry spat on co-star Chris during the film’s premiere at the Venice Film Festival.

In his fourth film role, Harry will star as Tom Burgess in romantic drama My Policeman, based on the 2012 Bethan Roberts novel of the same name.

Directed by Michael Grandage, the film will also star Emma Corrin, Gina McKee, Linus Roache, David Dawson, and Rupert Everett.

The film is set in 1950s Brighton and tells the story of Tom Burgess, who marries schoolteacher Marion Taylor while also being in a relationship with Patrick Hazlewood, a museum curator.

It is set to be released in the UK on October 21.

While , Harry opened up about how he got into the mind of playing a repressed gay character.

‘I think he’s very curious,’ Styles said in a clip obtained by Variety.

‘I think he’s someone who is born into a very small world and, if you’re born into that kind of environment, you feel like you know where the edge of the world is.

‘Slowly throughout the story, I think he’s realising that it is a little further away than Brighton.

‘I think people live entire lives in very small bubbles like that, and if that’s how you’ve been brought up, and everyone around you and generations before you, your parents, etc. have all lived within their kind of small bubble, it’s obviously very difficult to even picture the world outside of that.’

Don’t Worry Darling is out in cinemas now.
