Tributes have poured in for star Angus Cloud
The actor, who played Fezco in the HBO drama starring  and Jacob Elordi, died at his family’s home in Oakland, who remembered his ‘humour, laughter and love’ in a statement.
Drake and Kerry Washington lead the tributes to Cloud, with the One Dance musician describing him as a ‘good soul’ on his Instagram stories.
Alongside a picture of Cloud, the Scan**l actress shared on X, formerly known as Twitter: ‘You will be deeply missed. Rest in Power.’
Javon Walton, who plays Cloud’s unofficially adopted ‘little brother’ in the teen drama, was among his Euphoria co-stars sharing condolences, writing on Instagram: ‘Rest easy brother.’
The official Euphoria account shared: ‘We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.’
Musicians including Chloe Bailey paid tribute, with the Swam actress sharing on X: ‘Wow angus cloud gone too soon.. rest in peace angel.’
Questlove wrote: ‘Fez was the spiritual center of Euphoria and definitely my fav character on the show. Love to his entire family and to those who knew him. #AngusCloud.’
Cloud’s family’s statement in full, shared with , read: ‘It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.’
They continued: ‘Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.
‘Angus was open about his battle with  and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.
‘We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.’
Cloud’s family did not state a cause of death for the actor.Â
Apart from his breakout role in Euphoria, Cloud’s other credits include roles in The Line and cameos in music videos for artists like Becky G, Karol G and Juice WRLD.
He was recently cast opposite Melissa Berrera in a new horror movie at Universal Pictures from Scream 6 directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.
Throughout his two seasons on the show, Cloud shared the majority of his scenes with Emmy award winner Zendaya (Rue Bennett) and Maude Apatow.
Cloud, who was born in 1998, had a younger brother and twin sisters.
