Kelsey Grammer couldn’t contain his emotions as he opened up about returning as Dr Crane, ahead of the reboot.
The 68-year-old has starred as the stuffy psychiatrist since 1984, before landing his very own spin-off in 1993.
Three decades after Frasier first aired, will be hitting our screens on October 12, meaning we don’t have too long to wait.
Ahead of the release, a video obtained by showed the actor addressing the live studio audience during filming on different occasions, hailing the ‘incredible journey’ he had been on with the character.
‘I’m delighted you’re here. I can’t tell you how grateful I am that you’re here, and how grateful we are that we have a chance to do this for you again,’ Kelsey proudly told one lucky crowd.
‘We’ve been working so hard at this thing and it’s been quite a while, and I think we’ve done something quite lovely.’
Becoming visibly emotional, he continued to another: ‘My love for this character is very sweet. I always do this!
‘It’s been such an incredible journey, to think that 20-some odd years later, we could do Frasier. What’s shocking is he’s just as fresh and alive as any regular human being would be.
‘Give us your blessing and wait for us. Give us love, and we’re going to give you love back.’

Kelsey will be joined by a mostly new cast for the revival,  as his pal Alan, and Jack Cutmore-Scott – who joined the fold as his son, Freddy.
Peri Gilpin and Bebe Neuwirth have reprised their roles as Roz Doyle and Lilith Sternin respectively, but David Hyde Pierce and Jane Leeves will not be returning as Niles Crane and Daphne Moon.
The 10-episode series will begin with a double-bill next Thursday, with all new instalments dropping weekly on Thursdays.
The official synopsis reads: ‘The new series follows Frasier Crane (Grammer) in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill.
‘Frasier has re-entered the building!’
Frasier premieres on October 12 on Paramount+.
