Announcing his arrival, the couple – who met on Strictly back in 2017, although they were not paired up together – took to social media,
‘Little man is here! He arrived safe and sound and he’s utterly wonderful. Mia is already the mother hen we expected her to be,’ Gemma wrote.
‘We’re all home together soaking up this lovely little bubble before Gorks has to leave for Strictly rehearsals next week.’
‘Thank you for all the lovely well wishes. Our family is complete’, she added, having given birth to their daughter Mia in 2019.
The pair later revealed that their son’s full name is Thiago Thomas Marquez.
And while they’re undoubtedly living in a love bubble, not everything is going so smoothly.
Taking to Instagram this weekend, radio host Gemma shared that had a breast milk spillage on Saturday morning.
‘I spilt so much breast milk this morning’, she wrote.
‘Guess I didn’t clean it as well as I thought’, she added, alongside a clip of their two dogs happily licking the remains up off the floor!
Oh dear.
Her mishap comes after Gemma explained the meaning behind her baby boy’s name.
Taking to her Story yesterday, the mum-of-two said Thiago is originally a Portuguese name, and Gorka’s mum is from Portugal.
As for his middle name, Thomas, that was allowing them to have a ‘mix of the two’.
Already giving her little one a nickname, she wrote: ‘Tio is thriving and it feels like he’s always been here. Mia is obsessed!
‘Thank you everyone for the lovely messages. We feel extremely lucky’.
And if rumours are to be believed, Gemma has no desire to slow down despite being a new mum once again.
