Having decided to cover up his existing artwork, MGK –– has turned his entire upper chest black.
Yes, even his nipples.
Not only that but he’s covered the majority of his arms too.
While much of his previous ink is now blacked out, the 33-year-old’s previously colorful tattoos do still peak out slightly through a cross design.
His latest ink was created by Roxx and Cats, who specialise in and are globally recognised for their ‘black-work-only’ tattoos, with over 50 years of experience between them.
Debuting his bold new look, MGK took to Instagram and sparked quite a reaction with his shirtless pics. Disgust from many, in fact, before it emerged what his reasons were for the transformation.
Revealing the reason behind his tattoos, he wrote in his caption: ‘for spiritual purposes only.’
However, it was later reported that MGK got the body art to prove he is ‘100% committed’ to his relationship with Megan Fox.
‘Colson has told Megan that one major reason he did his latest blackout tattoo was not only for a spiritual reason, but he also wanted her to know he did it for her,’ an insider told .
‘He wants her to know that no matter what one does with their own body, they both share each other and his body is her body and he also wants to remove so much confusion from his previous tattoos.
‘He wants to move the confusion that ends up in their relationship from time to time and show her he can change for the benefit of himself and their relationship.’

Fans were stunned by MGK’s new ink, to say the least, with bethmcgrogan commenting: ‘I had an emotional attachment to those tats ngl’.

Not everyone was so sure, though, questioning if the black would run off in the shower.
However, reps for Roxx and Cats confirmed to : ‘Yes, the tattoo is very permanent.’
MGK’s sprawling tattoo assortment became famous for including many colourful designs, most of which proudly flaunt (or flaunted, rather) his pride for his Cleveland roots.
He’s also sported ink that reimagines the classic works of artists Banksy and Salvador Dalí.
MGK isn’t the only star debuting some new ink these days, as also has some striking new tats.
