The was the catalyst for lots of people to go out and buy a PS5 in the UK, as stock of the console arrived just in time.
The extra long bank holiday weekend caused a notable increase in video game sales in the UK last week and it was Sony that benefited the most, thanks to increased stock of the PlayStation 5 console.
Since Horizon Forbidden West is included in a it rose to the top spot, with sales up 31% on the previous week.
With no new releases there was little other movement in the chart, except for – which shot up the charts thanks to widespread discounting, including in Sony’s Days of Play sale.
