Where can I watch Holby City?
Although you can still watch plenty of old Holby episodes, the seasons are scattered across various channels and streaming services.
At the time of writing, the final few episodes of season 22 and the entire of season 23 are available to watch on– however, they will slowly start to be removed from the platform as the weeks go on.
Seasons 19 – 23 are available to watch on , while series 17, 18, 22, and 23 can be streamed on now.
Series 17 and 18 of Holby City are also currently available on .
Older episodes air on the Drama channel on weekdays at 9.35am.
Why is Holby City ending?
The BBC explained its decision to bring Holby City to an end in a statement released in June 2021.
The : ‘We sometimes have to make difficult decisions to make room for new opportunities and as part of the BBC’s commitment to make more programmes across the UK, we have taken the difficult decision to bring the show to a close in order to reshape the BBC’s drama slate to better reflect, represent and serve all parts of the country.
‘We would like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing team at BBC Studios and all the cast and crew who have been involved in the show since 1999.’
Holby City’s last episode will air at 7.50pm on Tuesday, March 29, on BBC One.
