Known for presenting Capital FM’s radio breakfast show, – and it turns out she’s a dab hand at home renovations too.

Having appeared on the magazine show as a showbiz reporter, Siân, 37, is no stranger to the This Morning sofa.

But she’s now left her radio gig and alongside Dermot O’Leary, following ’s r.

When she’s not on our screens, Siân is with her fiancé Jake Beckett, enjoying her ever-evolving home which they are constantly improving using some impressive DIY skills.

The broadcaster has given fans a glimpse into the whole process on social media, from artistic touches to some banging garden furniture.

Starting from the outside, Sian had a classically London rectangular outdoor garden, with just enough room to make something fabulous.

That she did, as one before and after shot shows what was a concrete slab transformed into an uber-chic chill out space, with a sunken outdoor corner sofa.

But she transformed it into an al fresco snug (Picture: Instagram/sianwelby)

But the al fresco glow up didn’t end there, as she also thought about ambiance, people, with oversized fairy lights, and a whole wall of leafy magic.

That’s just the outside. If you’ve ever wondered what to do with plain corridor walls, then look no further.

The radio DJ spruced hers up with a strong lick of paint – literally, as she used the brand Lick, and the colour 001 Teal (incase you’re seriously inspired).

She finished the edgy colour change with a Ted Lasso-esque bit of motivational wall art at the end, which read ‘Dream On’ in swirly multicolours.

Elsewhere, while most of us were probably being generally useless, Siân took the opportunity of a bank holiday in London to give her living room a makeover.

It wasn’t no Elephant Breath to Rhino Breath colour difference, either – Siân went bold. She may as well, as it appears she was gifted the 03 Red paint by Lick for the Instagram advert.

The result was slightly more terracotta, burnt red earth than crimson – don’t worry.

Alongside a video of her getting messy painting the walls – and using the crucial sellotape hack (please do not paint without this) – Siân admitted in the caption it was a ‘bold’ choice.

‘Bank Holiday Living Room makeover!’ she wrote, continuing: ‘Went for a bold colour this time! Bit of a gamble but I love the end result. Used @lick Red 03 and only needed 2 coats (with a 2 hour drying time between coats) so super quick transformation – All done in the same afternoon!

‘And yes before you rinse me…I did paint AROUND the telly 🤣🤣🤣 we couldn’t get it off! 🤦‍♀️ that’s a problem for another day!’

More exciting change came for Siân last year when her radio producer boyfriend popped the question.

Taking to social media with a picture of the couple looking ecstatically happy, the bride-to-be admitted that it was a total shock proposal.

‘On Tuesday I thought we were just going on a boat trip!!’ she said. ‘Genuinely didn’t see this coming. For once I am totally speechless. I didn’t think it mattered until he asked me, and then suddenly it meant everything.

‘Love you Jakey x 15.8.23.’
