The Halloween star is officiating her daughter’s wedding dressed as a World Of Warcraft character, assuming her costume arrives on time.

We can’t imagine many mothers would agree to cosplaying as a video game character at their daughter’s wedding, but Jamie Lee Curtis will be doing just that, as well as officiating at it.

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Halloween actress explained that her daughter Ruby is having a cosplay wedding, meaning everyone needs to arrive in costume. In Curtis’ case, she will be going as Jaina Proudmoore, a character from World Of Warcraft.

Curtis doesn’t appear to be that familiar with the character, admitting that her daughter was the one who picked the costume out for her. ‘Her name is Jaina Proudmoore. It’s from – anybody here know what that is? It’s a game. I don’t know, it’s a game. She’s an admiral,’ she says.

While she did get the admiral part right, Jaina is also regarded as the most powerful sorceress in all of World Of Warcraft. She’s apparently popular enough to be one of seven characters to have .

If you’re hoping to see a sneak peek of how she’ll look before the wedding, Curtis says she hasn’t received the costume yet as her Etsy order has been delayed. Said order is also being sent from Russia, which, well… you can guess the problems there.

Hopefully, she gets it in time, with the wedding to be held in Curtis’ own backyard, where her other daughter also got married. Although it seems fair to imagine that Curtis’ backyard is probably quite big.

As odd as this all may sound, Curtis is no stranger to cosplaying video game characters and has done so multiple times. In 2015, she attended the EVO fighting game tournament , mainly because the mask kept her from being recognised.

She’s even dressed as before, rocking up to the premiere of the Warcraft movie as an orc, and once attended World Of Warcraft studio Blizzard’s own BlizzCon. Perhaps she’s more of a fan of the game than she lets on.

While she may not have landed a role in the aforementioned Warcraft movie, she will be starring in the , as , alongside Cate Blanchett and Jack Black.
