Jey Uso made a shock return at Payback just weeks afterover his issues with The Bloodline.

The popular star hasn’t been seen since he laid out his cousin Roman Reigns, brother Solo Sikoa and twin Jimmy Uso after being screwed in his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match at SummerSlam.

His own twin cost him the win that night, and later claimed it was to stop him from becoming Tribal Chief and being corrupted by the title in the way Roman has.

Main Event Jey Uso didn’t think the explanation was good enough and he took out his family, before insisting he was done with the Bloodline, SmackDown and all of WWE.

WWE really sold the epic development, going as far as removing Jey from the roster and of their official website.

On Saturday night, he appeared to an electric response from the live crowd in Pittsburgh as Cody Rhodes was a guest on the Grayson Waller Effect.

During the talk show, the American Nightmare insisted he had some big news for everyone, noting he used some of his backstage pull to get something done.

It turns out not only is Jey back, but he’ll be switching brands and joining the Raw roster as he looks to become a star away from the interference and distraction of The Bloodline.

Waller didn’t want to be outdone, and he insisted Jey actually needed the ‘Grayson Waller Rub’, only to be floored by a huge Superkick.

Elsewhere at Payback, John Cena was the special guest referee for LA Knight’s win over The Miz, while the Judgment Day’s Damian Priest and Finn Balor used every trick in the book to beat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the tag team titles.

Rey Mysterio successfully defended the United States Championship against rival Austin Theory, after the show opened with a real grudge match as Becky Lynch beat Trish Stratus inside a steel cage.
