Katie Price hits back at ‘easy’ label and shares how many men she’s actually slept with

has defended herself against comments about her sex life, claiming people wrongly assume she’s slept with lots of men.

Since her rise to fame in the 90s and early 00s, Katie has been the subject of many discussions about her relationships – whether she’s invited them or not.

Her mum, , recently which became the catalyst for her ‘downward spiral’.

Hitting back at the ‘slag’ image she’s been labelled as, the 45-year-old opened up about how many people she’s actually been intimate with.

Katie brought up public perception of herself on the debut episode of her The Katie Price Show, chatting candidly with her half-sister Sophie Price, 33.

‘People think I’m a slag, people think I’ve slept with so many men,’ Katie said on the new podcast.

With so many highly publicised relationships, including with Peter Andre, the TV personality is clearly frustrated with people thinking she’s ‘easy’.

She teased Sophie and said: ‘You’ve probably slept with more people than me.’

‘I haven’t, I can count on one hand,’ quipped her co-host playfully.

This prompted Katie to give some insight into her views on relationships and one-night stands.

‘I can count on two. I am not into one-night stands, never have been. I haven’t been brought up that way,’ shared the mum-of-five.

Katie’s work as a glamour model in the 00s, multiple high-profile relationships, and penchant for plastic surgery means she is often stereotyped as promiscuous.

She continued: ‘I am not that kind of person, I am very homey, I am not easy to get into bed, no one can just think they can get me into bed.

‘People have to work for it, if they want me. I’m not easy.’

The model’s dating life has been viewed under a microscope since she left her electrician boyfriend for footballer Teddy Sheringham.

Katie was just 17 at the time and previously said that the then 34-year-old Teddy ‘went cold’ after the press found out about them.

She then caught the eye of Gladiator Ace, who proposed to her at 18 years old but the pair split after two years.

Over the years, Katie has had short relationships with Dane Bowers, Gareth Gates, Danny Cipriani, Leandro Penna, and Dwight Yorke who is the father of Harvey.

Dwight is estranged from his 21-year-old son, who has autism and Prader-Willi syndrome and is partially blind.

Katie has also dated people outside the public eye, including Kieran Hayler who she married and shares two children with – Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight.

Her most famous relationship was with singer , which included a lavish wedding with Katie in a pink dress back in 2005.

The pair were married for almost four years and have two children who they co-parent together, , 18, and Princess, 16.
