has launched a scathing rant against her fellow celebrities, claiming certain people in the industry are ‘up their own a**e’.
The former glamour model, 45, isn’t known for biting her tongue and, after a lengthy career in showbiz, she’s taken a swipe at other ‘snobby’ stars.
Katie rose to fame with her modelling before pursuing a career in TV, appearing on the likes of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, , and even finishing as a runner-up in the search for the UK’s entry in 2005.
And while she has plenty of reality TV shows of her own under her belt, one programme Katie is yet to appear on is , which she recently
Speaking during in quotes obtained by , the mum-of-five began: ‘So many celebs are up their own a*******s, because I’ve been around so long.’
However, she believes it’s only newcomers who are more likely to have a problem with her, as showbiz veterans tend to treat her better.
‘I think you find people who have newly got fame are more up their a*s but people who have been in the industry a long time are more down to Earth,’ she suggested.
‘But no one ever gives me s**t because they know I’ve been in the industry a long time, so no one is actually horrible to me.’
On not being asked to do Strictly this year, Katie explained that she might not be the best dancer, but she’d still give it a good go.
‘Strictly, no I didn’t get asked to do Strictly,’ she responded to a fan question. ‘I’ve got two left feet but I could still give it a chance.’
‘I said to my therapist yesterday, he said, is there anything that you feel you need to do that will make me happier.
‘This was at The Priory yesterday, I said for me to run again. I said I’m going to try and run again but he said you can’t because you’ve had life-changing injuries.
‘I don’t know if there is anyone out there like me, but when I’m told that you can’t do something, then I want to do it more and I am going to try and run.
‘My feet have been alright at the minute, I just feel like I have to give it a go.’
Katie suffered significant injuries while on holiday in Turkey with her children back in 2020, which led to her being in a wheelchair for several weeks.
It happened when she was ‘mucking about’ and jumped over a wall during a day out at a theme park, without realising how big the drop was on the other side.
Her attack on the BBC and Strictly comes after was officially confirmed.
