has clapped back at those suggesting she Sleeping Beauty as wicked fairy Carabosse.
The 45-year-old model and reality TV star has been appearing at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena , for which she has been , since earlier this month.
Ahead of her final shows on Saturday, Katie took to Instagram to reveal how much she had loved her time performing.
This came after fans reacted to a clip of the mum-of-five taking centre stage in a dance number where her lacklustre performance made it seem like she’d.
According to Katie though, that simply wasn’t true.
‘Last day of panto today… I’ve enjoyed every minute and it’s been a wonderful way to end 2023,’ she insisted, alongside a photo of herself – horns and all – as the show’s villain.
Katie, who has been promoting her appearance on her Instagram account, faced a bit of a backlash thanks to her less than committed performance on the TikTok video that went viral.
Superfan Ethan Leyland took to the social media platform with the hilarious video, and some praise for Katie’s performance as he dubbed the show the ‘best £33 I’ve ever spent’.
However, some were less than enchanted as Katie appeared to be suppressing the giggles as she all-but walked her way through the routine to Spencer David Group’s Gimme’ Some Lovin’.
‘Katie Price is absolutely nailing the choreo… Why is everyone else so off?’ joked user Rich.
Meanwhile, Karly Williams pointed out, amused: ‘She looks as though she’s trying not to burst out howling with laughter.’
User James then referenced a famous Morecambe and Wise sketch with Andre Previn as he quipped: ‘She’s doing all the right moves just not necessarily in the right order.’
While user GayDadOfTwo questioned if Katie had gone to any rehearsals, the original poster commented: ‘If you went to watch it you’d have a different opinion! The panto was hilarious and she really stole the show’.
The Mucky Mansion star also recently admitted that she had been ‘ballsing up’ some of her lines due to the exhausting schedule and would be skipping the hours of driving it would take to get back to kids Harvey, Junior, Princess, Bunny and Jett on her one day off on Christmas Day.
On her podcast she confessed: ‘I am broken, knackered. If I have to read another script line, my head is ready to explode.
‘For the past six days, I’ve had to learn a full script, dance, songs for panto that I don’t know or I’ve never even heard of.
‘On top of that my nerves. The stress I’ve put on myself this week is ridiculous. I have ballsed my lines up and had to make some stuff up, so hopefully nobody noticed it.’
Katie is due to continue in the pantomime spirit – although moving away from the family friendly atmosphere – with her appearance in another (adult) panto version of Dick Whittington next month.
She’ll be joining the cast at The Exchange 1856 in Newcastle Upon Tyne from January 25 – 28 as Queen Rat.
