Khloe Kardashian has legally changed her son’s name, just a year after he was born, it has been claimed.
The 39-year-old welcomed her second child with on-off boyfriend via a surrogate in July, 2022.
After keeping the little one under wraps, in the season three premiere of the Kardashians in May, joking that ‘naming a human is hard’.
However, according to reports, the Good American designer was initially unsure of what to call her son .
reports that she officially listed him as Baby Kardashian at the time, before submitting paperwork to change this once they settled on a name.
A judge in LA reportedly granted the name change today, 13 months after Tatum’s arrival.
Khloe and Tristan are also parents to daughter True, introducing the five-year-old together in 2018.
They decided to expand their family at the end of 2021, just before it was revealed that the NBA star had secretly fathered a son with Maralee Nichols.
The pair have since gone their separate ways have remained close for the sake of True and Tatum – who arrived last summer.
Discussing the new addition to their brood, Khloe revealed that she initially struggled to connect with the tot due to the surrogacy process.
‘People can connect in different ways, people could not connect,’ she told Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick during a catch-up on their Hulu show.
‘People say it’ll take a minute. But Kim said hers was easy, this is not easy.’
‘I definitely buried my head in the sand during that pregnancy, that I didn’t digest what was happening,’ she added in a confessional. ‘When I went to the hospital, I really think that was the first time that really registered.
‘It has nothing to do with the baby, it’s just… “Okay, we’re having a baby, this is my son and I’m taking him home with me.” I definitely was in a state of shock, I think, from my entire experience in general.
‘I felt really guilty that this woman just had my baby and I take the baby, and I go to another room and you’re separated. It’s such a transactional experience because it’s not about him.
‘I wish someone was honest about surrogacy and the difference of it, but it doesn’t mean it’s bad, it’s still great. It’s just very different.’
