screamed and ran off stage as she was pranked by Ellen DeGeneres.

The mom-of-four was a guest on the Ellen Show recently, where she opened up about her budding relationship with boyfriend .

A clip emerged of the 41-year-old in the hot seat when talk turned to her favorite memory from her previous appearances on the series, .

The Kardashians star recalled a time when the host played a prank on her mom, Kris Jenner, vowing: ‘I’ve always dreamed of being scared like that. Because I like to get scared. I get scared and then I laugh, too. It’s funny.

‘It’s so fun to be scared.’

Kimmy might want to be careful what she wishes for in future as the presenter took the opportunity to have some fun, and really ran with it.

‘I’m not going to scare you but I do want to help you get over something because you’re scared of spiders,’ Ellen began as the realization dawned on her pal.

‘No, no. Absolutely not,’ the mom-of four yelled while squirming in her seat.

‘You’re not doing this to me. I’m never going to get over it.’

Reaching over to a covered cage on her side table, Ellen calmly informed her guest that it wasn’t ‘a loose spider’.

Having precisely none of it, Kim shot out of the chair and ran to ‘safety’, screaming ‘no, no, no.’

‘We’ve been through this before,’ she pleaded. ‘I don’t care. I don’t care to get over my fear.’

Ellen threw the ‘spider’ towards the reality star who screamed and left the stage, before being told that it was a fake bug and bidding goodbye to the laughing audience.

The host recently confirmed that the final episode of her titular talk show is on the horizon.

‘My final episode airs on May 26. I’m going to miss this,’ she tweeted last month.

The program premiered in September, 2003, and has been a staple of the TV guide ever since.

However, Ellen confirmed that it would be coming to an end last year, following a string of ‘toxic workplace’ allegations – as former employees claimed that the set was filled with racism, intimidation and fear.

Despite the scrutiny, she insisted that the claims didn’t contribute to her decision in ending the series.

‘It almost impacted the show. It was very hurtful to me,’ she said.

‘But if I was quitting the show because of that, I wouldn’t have come back this season. So, it’s not why I’m stopping.

‘But it was hard because I was sitting at home, it was summer, and I see a story that people have to chew gum before they talk to me and I’m like, “Okay, this is hilarious.”’
