Lea Michele jetted home to be with her sick son between Broadway performances, following a ‘hard day’.
The Glee actress, 36, after revealing that he had been taken to hospital last month.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a snap as she tightly embraced the two-year-old in a much-needed hug during a brief break from the Funny Girl stage.
‘Ran to give my baby a hug at home in between shows. It was quick but worth it,’ the mom-of-one wrote alongside the post.
Lea welcomed Ever with husband Zandy Reich in August, 2020, and previously detailed .
Last month, she revealed that the toddler , as she announced a brief break from Funny Girl.
‘I’m so sorry but unfortunately I will be out of @FunnyGirlBwy today,’ she said at the time. ‘We are at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for.
‘I’m so sorry. Please send us some love and strength.’
She returned to social media a few days later, thanking to her family.
‘Thank you for all your well wishes this past week,’ she wrote. ‘We are taking our boy home from the hospital soon.
‘Thank you to all the amazing doctors and hospital staff.’
On Wednesday, the Scream Queens star offered a heartbreaking update on Ever’s health, revealing that they had returned to hospital.
‘Today was a hard day,’ she penned. ‘As parents we have to be strong for our kids.
‘But sometimes you just want to break down and cry. (Hidden I the bathroom or closet is usually best. Today I chose hospital bathroom.
‘These hard times show you truly what matters and is important in life and how much we have to be grateful for.
‘It’s been hard to say the least but our boy is such a champ and is going to be ok. But it still hurts.’
Lea also posted a throwback snap as she cuddled Ever during a beach day, with the caption: ‘My everything.’
