Liam Neeson has extended his well wishes to fellow actor Bruce Willis following his aphasia diagnosis.Â
Last month, it was announced that after being diagnosed with the disorder, which is caused by damage in a specific area of the brain that controls language expression and comprehension.Â
Neeson, 69, is currently promoting his new movie Memory, in which he plays a hitman suffering from memory loss.
The assassin-for-hire is tasked with taking out a child forcing him to address his own moral code, while also contending with the memory loss condition which has complicated his job.
The Taken actor has been especially devastated by Willis’ health battle and said: ‘My heart goes out to him. I think about him every day.’

Willis’ family, including wife Emma Heming and ex-wife Demi Moore, confirmed his diagnosis in a joint statement on March 30.
They explained: ‘To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities.
‘As a result of this and with much consideration that has meant so much to him.’
They added that it had been ‘a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support’.
‘We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him,’ the statement continued.
It was signed ‘Emma, Demi, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, & Evelyn’, referencing his wife, model Emma; ex-wife Demi; children with Demi, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah; and his daughters Mabel, nine, and seven-year-old Evelyn with Emma.
Following an outpouring of support for the Hollywood icon, of her and Willis, and wrote: ‘Mom & Dad in their favorite habitat #offthegrid.’
