star Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee has put presenter Nick Lachey on blast once again, after calling the host ‘washed up’ following that tense reunion special.
The 33-year-old veterinarian starred in season two of the hit Netflix dating series, which follows several singletons getting to know each other in pods without seeing what the other looks like, and a handful end up engaged shortly after.
Throughout the dating show, about his fiancée Deepti Vempati behind her back, and told his co-stars that he wasn’t physically attracted to her – which resulted in Deepti ditching Shake at the altar in the season two finale.
During the reunion special, Shake and Nick clashed after the presenter called him out on his behavior, and it all came to a head when Shake said the only person he was attracted to was Nick’s wife Vanessa Lachey.
Reflecting on the dramatic showdown, Shake told : ‘That’s a compliment unless you’re an insecure, insecure guy.’
‘You single me out when you’re supposed to be an impartial host,’ he added.
‘Like, bro, you’re a washed up nobody.’
This isn’t the first time the reality star has publicly called out Nick.
In a now-deleted Instagram rant, the 33-year-old also
‘Reunion summed up in a photo. You put a doctor on the show… of course you were going to see some critical thinking,’ he penned alongside a picture of himself in the episode.
‘Shading his fellow Love Is Blind co-stars, he added: ‘Sorry I didn’t play along with your narrative like the rest of these puppets. Say hi to @vanessalachey for me.’
During that same month, , and shared the news on social media.
‘Good things come to those w̶a̶i̶t̶ don’t settle,’ he wrote in the caption with a string of pictures and a video with said new romance, Emily Watson, throwing shade at his ex-fiancée Deepti in the process.
