The fact that there’ll be a good dose of drama between a diverse group of singles in the newest UK dating show airing on Prime – a series very inclusive of the LGBTQ+ community – is what sets Lovestruck High apart.

What is Lovestruck High about?
Similar to other dating shows Lovestruck High follows a group of singles looking for love (and the prize money, obvs) but with a twist, according to the series info.
‘The reality show transports a group of UK singles looking for ‘the one’ into their very own American high school. They all want to find a date among their new classmates, and to help bring them closer together, they’ll be taking on a series of challenges and lessons in the classroom, on the sports field and after school. At the end of the semester, which couple will be crowned Prom Royalty and win the $100,000 prize?’
If it sounds like a scene straight out of a teen rom-com (AKA ), that’s really why we’re here for it. The choice of the series narrator also makes perfect sense now…
Who is the narrator?
HRH Lindsay Lohan will be (again, remember Mean Girls? Yep, like that) to keep us informed of all the lovestruck antics.
The Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen actress, 35, will introduce the diverse Lovestruck class of 2022 – as they try to find the ‘love of their life’ among their fellow classmates.

Who is in the line-up?
Other than Lindsay taking on narrating duties, the contestants are made up of an eclectic group of 15 UK singles with a range of personalities and sexual orientations, including Adam, Alex, Basit, Chante, Charlie, Dan, Geoff, Huss, Jess, Jody, Junaid, KT, Alex, Megan, Sin, Theo and Yasmine.
As well as the participants, audiences will be introduced to the faculty at Lovestruck High, Principal Nelson, Miss Kelly and Coach Hughes.
When is it released on Amazon Prime Video?
Lovestruck High launches on Prime Video on 18th May, with episodes 1-3. The further 3 episodes will land the week after and the final 2 episodes, the week after that.
Is there a trailer?
Yes, and it looks wild, promising plenty of drama and twists including some students being expelled as they miss out on their chance of becoming Prom King or Queen.
