Larsa Pippen could be set to walk down the aisle again after her smitten boyfriend Marcus Jordan dropped a major hint about their wedding plans.
It’s been nearly than a year since Larsa, 49, and Marcus, 32 – son of NBA legend Michael Jordan – and things have been going strong ever since.
Even of their relationship hasn’t deterred the happy couple – although it’s yet to be determined whether he was joking or not.
They’re clearly very serious about each other as Marcus has suggested they’ve been discussing their future wedding.
The couple were spotted leaving a West Hollywood restaurant after dinner on Wednesday evening looking very loved-up. Ever the gentleman, Marcus took the lead and led Larsa by the hand into their waiting car as they were hit with questions about their blossoming romance.
When if marriage was on the cards, Marcus replied with a huge smile: ‘We’re looking for a location.’
He was then pressed about a wedding date, to which he responded that it was ‘in the works.’ However, Larsa was much less forthcoming about their future plans and simply smiled when asked if she had picked out a wedding dress yet.
If the couple do tie the knot, it’ll be the second marriage for Larsa who was previously in a lengthy 24-year union with NBA star Scottie Pippen – who happens to have been Marcus’ dad Michael’s teammate in the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s.
Marcus and Larsa were first romantically linked in late 2022 before being pictured kissing outside a Miami hotel in January.
Their relationship has faced scrutiny due to the 16-year age gap and Michael, 60, only added fuel to the fire when he hinted that he didn’t approve of them dating. In July, the retired basketball star laughed off the question before stating a firm ‘no’ but was then questioned about it again to which he shook his head no, confirming his earlier response.
Of course, it’s possible Michael was simply joking around with the photographer.
However, Larsa insisted she had been warmly welcomed by Marcus’ family, on the Tamron Hall Show previously: ‘I feel like, we’ve spent holidays together and it’s good. We’re in a great place.’
She added: ‘It’s not about my parents, his parents. They’re all happy. Our whole family’s fine.’
Marcus backed up her claims and shed light on his wider family’s reaction to his and Larsa’s relationship and it .
‘We spent Thanksgiving together last year and, you know, my family loves her,’ Marcus insisted .
‘They think she’s great. And ultimately, I think my family just wants to see me happy. And so as long as I’m happy, they’re happy with, you know, where I’m living.’
He continued: ‘Everybody had an opinion at first. I think there was some shock and interest early on, but I think that was the whole point of us trying to spend some family time together during the holidays.’
When asked specifically if that means Michael approves, Marcus replied: ‘Yeah, oh yeah.’
Larsa and Scottie’s divorce was finalised in 2021 and the two share four children Scotty Jr., 22, Preston, 21, Justin, 18, and Sophia, 14.
