The loved-up couple made sure to rep their new film, Barbie, as they strolled through Sydney airport, with 32-year-old Margot looking as chic as ever in a pink blazer and 33-year-old Tom – who is a producer on the much-anticipated blockbuster – going all out in a pink Barbie cap.

They were of course in Margot’s homeland to promote the Greta Gerwig-directed flick, which hits cinemas next month.

Margot and Tom tied the know in December 2018 in Byron Bay and met on the set of Suite Française in 2014.

The pair even previously lived in a three-bedroom house in Clapham with five other friends.

As well as being husband and wife, Margot and Tom are partners in their production company LuckyChap Entertainment, along with Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr.

In fact, Richard Dickson, COO and president of Mattel, even flew to  during filming to ‘argue’ with Margot and 39-year-old Greta about a scene.

Richard felt the scene was ‘off brand’ but changed his mind once Margot and Greta acted it out.

Speaking , Margot explained: ‘When you look on the page, the nuance isn’t there, the delivery isn’t there.’

Elsewhere in the interview, it was revealed that while many of the movie’s cast used the word feminist ‘unprompted’ when describing Greta’s script, Robbie Brenner, an executive producer at Mattel Films, insisted ‘it isn’t a feminist film’.

When Margot was asked about Robbie’s comments, it seems she wasn’t particularly thrilled, with journalist Eliana Dockterman saying she ‘raised an eyebrow’ before asking: ‘Who said that?’

The Australian actress then noted that ‘it’s not that it is or it isn’t,’ adding: ‘It’s a movie that’s got so much in it.’

One thing’s for sure, we can’t wait to finally wrap our eyeballs around this movie!
