The McFly singer, 37, updated fans on his trip to A&E via his Instagram stories where he made light of the situation and joked about being next in line to be seen by doctors.
Another snap of the star showing off his swollen eye explained that he had finally made it home and was put on a course of special eye drops.
Alongside a selfie in which he flashed a thumbs up, the pop singer added the caption: ‘Home. Another 6 weeks of steroid eye drops here we go’.
Tom continued to share news of his recovery with his followers and informed them that it was the third time he had been struck with the eye ailment.
The dad-of-three admitted he had: ‘literally been asleep all day’ and shared that he had – yet again – contracted Uveitis.
It was reported that the Five Colours in her Hair hitmaker had last suffered with the condition in the run-up to Christmas.
He said: ‘Each time it’s wiped me out like this’, on his social media channels.
Uveitis produces symptoms that include eye pain, redness and sensitivity to light,
Tom’s trip to the emergency room came after he rushed one of his sons to the hospital last month.
The star and his share eight, Buddy, seven, and Max, four.
Similarly sharing the experience with fans via his Instagram Story and a tired-looking selfie, the father revealed at the time: ‘Classic Sunday evening spent in A&E.
‘Nothing serious at all, kid with a bruised knee’.
The singer and his wife marked ten years of marriage last year – after saying ‘I do’ in 2012- with adorable tribute posts to one another that expressed their deep love.
At the time, Tom expressed his feelings for Giovanna with a heartfelt caption on social media that read: ‘You know you’ve married your perfect partner when their 10th wedding anniversary gift to you is a painting of a Wookie at a disco.
