It’s finally here! The eagerly-anticipated series has hit our screens.
The sees campmates from previous seasons of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here return to the jungle once again.
Each of the names making a comeback has created iconic moments on the original show or been previously crowned .
The juggernaut series will be once again hosted by and , who previously revealed the show is, the first time the growing franchise has been set there.
On Twitter, the iconic duo wrote: ‘South Africaaaaaaa! That’s right, we’re filming a very special version of I’m A Celebrity in South Africa which is coming to your tellies in 2023.’
The contestants are settling into camp life, already earning stars in the first hair-raising challenges of the series.
And there has already been a number of surprises for the series, including the revelation and the arrival of a few surprise guests.
So who are this year’s campmates vying for the first-ever Legend title? Let’s meet them.
Myleene Klass
Singer, model, and TV presenter has entered the show as one of four late arrivals.
Myleene, 45, first rose to fame as a contestant on Popstars in 2001 as part of Hear’Say alongside Danny Foster, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, and Noel Sullivan.
The star has been named the sexiest-ever contestant on I’m A Celeb after she on the 2006 series.
Andy Whyment
star is giving I’m A Celebrity another go.
The actor, 42, is best known for portraying in the ITV soap – a role he has held for more than 30 years.
He first entered the jungle in 2019 for the 19th series where he achieved second place.
Georgia Toffolo
The rumours are true – is hoping to grab the crown once more as she arrives in South Africa.
The TV personality, 28, first rose to fame when she appeared in before going on to appear in the third series of .
Georgia in the 2017 series of I’m A Celebrity which she appeared alongside fellow campmate Amir Khan.
Gillian McKeith
was an iconic I’m A Celebrity contestant, and she’s back for more.
The TV star, 63, is the former host of Channel 4’s You Are What You Eat, Granada Television’s Dr Gillian McKeith’s Feel Fab Forever, and W Network’s Eat Yourself Sexy.
Gillian famously before she was given oxygen during her stint on the show in 2010.
Carol Vorderman
Media personality , 62, first appeared on the show in 2016 where she finished in eighth place.
She is best known for her time on the game show , which she appeared on for 26 years.
Carol is also the host of the annual awards.
Janice Dickinson
, 68, is an American model, television personality, and businesswoman.
She served as a judge on America’s Next Top Model from 2003 to 2006, opening her own modelling agency in 2005 which was documented on reality series The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.
Janice starred in the 2015 series of I’m A Celebrity where she quickly became a fan favourite – though she didn’t take the top title which was instead won by .
Shaun Ryder
Singer is coming back for the show despite after he lost in 2010 to Stacey Solomon, saying: ‘As far as I am concerned the game was rigged. I really do mean that.’
The songwriter, 60, is best known for being the lead singer of , a band that became a figurehead in the Manchester music scene.
In 1993, he formed Black Grape with former Happy Mondays dancer Bez.
Helen Flanagan
Andy will be in good company as fellow Corrie star returns to the show.
Helen held the role ofin the soap from 2000 to 2012, before briefly returning in 2017 before going on maternity leave.
She participated on the twelfth series of I’m A Celebrity in 2012 where she finished in seventh placed.
Paul Burrell
Princess Diana’s former butler is well known for his meltdown when he appeared on the show in 2004 as he battled through the Bushtucker Trials.
And now he’s back for more after heading to South Africa.
Paul, 64,as a Buckingham Palace footman, before rising through the ranks to join the household of Diana and King Charles III, then Prince Charles, in 1987.
Fatima Whitbread
Retired javelin thrower is once again appearing on I’m A Celebrity.
Fatima, 62, is best known for breaking the world record with a throw of 77.44 m in the qualifying round of the 1986 European Athletics Championships in Stuttgart, becoming the first British athlete to set a world record in a throwing event.
She was at the centre of one of the show’s most unforgettable moments in the 2011 series of the show when and had to be dislodged by Medic Bob.
Phil Tufnell
, 56, is a former English international cricketer and current television and radio personality.
Following his retirement from cricket in 2002, he has appeared in the likes of They Think It’s All Over, Celebrity Deal Or No Deal, A Question of Sport, and Strictly Come Dancing,
Tuffers first entered the jungle in 2003 for the second-ever series, winning the coveted King of the Jungle title.
Jordan Banjo
Diversity dancer entered the jungle in 2016, becoming the fourth celeb to leave the series.
The street dancer, 30, rose to fame in 2009 when he and the rest of Diversity appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, eventually winning the show.
Since then, he and fellow Diversity star Perri Kiely co-host the KISS weekday breakfast show.
Amir Khan
Fans will remember former boxer , 36, was one of the best-paid I’m A Celebrity contestants, said to have landed a £400,000 fee for his jungle stint in 2017.
He was also remembered by fans for being terrified by bugs and behind the backs of his campmates, causing uproar among his castmates.
Amir competed from 2005 to 2022 as a professional boxer, holding the Commonwealth lightweight title from 2007 to 2008 and the WBC Silver welterweight title from 2014 to 2016.
