Molly-Mae Hague and rang in the New Year in the most style, and made a new celebrity BFF at the same time.
The couple, both 24, had a lot to celebrate in 2023 and – joined by daughter Bambi.
Taking to Instagram, the mum-of-one shared a glimpse into, revealing that they had celebrated the arrival of 2024 with none other than .
As you do.
Molly-Mae generously gave us proof of their new friendship in the form of a black-and-white video of Tommy dancing with .
‘Maybe the most unexpected duo of 2023 just before it ends,’ she wrote beside the brief clip.
Although the trio may be living the life in the Maldives, Molly-Mae also revealed that it wasn’t quite as glamorous as we may believe, as it has ‘rained every single day torrentially’ since they landed.
After posting a very blurry photo with her groom-to-be, the reality star couldn’t help but reflect on their whirlwind year together – as they welcomed their first child, Bambi, and also confirmed their engagement.
Posting a photo of little Bambi, she continued: ‘Lucky number 23… We were both 23 when we had you. Born on the 23rd. In 2023. Engaged on the 23rd.
‘Thank you 2023 for giving me the most special gift of all.’
The lovebirds were joined on their travels by the 11-month-old in a last minute U-turn, after they originally decided to spend the time together as a couple.
Molly-Mae unpacked their plans in a special YouTube video, explaining that they felt uncomfortable leaving the little one back in the UK.
‘I feel so many mixed emotions about it because I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was feeling apprehensive about taking Bambi to The Maldives,’ she told viewers.
‘To be completely honest and 100% real with you, originally it was meant to be just Tommy and me going for a romantic holiday and our present to each other for Christmas.
‘As it got closer and the holiday came around, we were both saying we didn’t feel comfortable with the idea of spending New Year’s away from Bambi. That was breaking both of our hearts.’
Molly-Mae shared that she hadn’t had ‘any proper time’ with Tommy for the last year, apart from a few date nights – but they decided to get a last minute ticket for little Bambi.
She added: ‘It didn’t feel right. I felt really upset about the idea of leaving her.’
We never thought we’d be this jealous of a baby’s New Year’s Eve plans.
