Very soon, a is set to enter the MCU as TV series – starring as the lead of the cast – drops on Plus.
In the for the show, viewers caught their first glimpse of the protagonist Marc Spector, a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder who has become a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.
One of Marc’s distinct personalities is that of awkward , whose life is turned upside down when he begins to communicate with Marc and starts to fill in the blanks in his memory.
The release of Moon Knight follows other Marvel launches on Disney Plus, including WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, What If…?, Loki and Hawkeye.

When does Moon Knight come out?
Moon Knight is due to premiere in the UK and around the world on Wednesday March 30 on Disney Plus, with the episodes expected to be available to watch from 8am GMT on the day of release.
After the season premiere, the following episodes will come out on a weekly basis on Wednesdays thereafter.
Wednesdays have become the go-to day for the release of Marvel and Star Wars shows on the streaming platform, with Ewan McGregor’s series set to launch on Wednesday May 25 this year, marking the 45th anniversary of the release of the first Star Wars film, A New Hope in 1977.
Moon Knight is due to consist of six episodes, with the finale set to air on May 4.
Who is in the cast of Moon Knight?
Besides Oscar taking on the titular role, Ethan Hawke has been cast as Arthur Harrow, a cult leader who encourages Marc to embrace his inner darkness and who serves the Egyptian goddess Ammit.
The late Gaspard Ulliel – who following a skiing accident – portrays Anton Mogart, also known as Midnight Man.
Meanwhile May Calamawy stars in the show as a woman called Layla El-Faouly, a mysterious role who has some connection to Marc’s past.
The Egyptian moon god Khonshu is voiced by F Murray Abraham, who won an Oscar for his performance in the 1984 film Amadeus and also starred in productions including Scarface, Inside Llewelyn Davis and Homeland.
Other cast members include Rey Lucas as Marc’s father Elias Spector, Fernanda Andrade as Marc’s mother Wendy Spector and Antonia Salib as the Egyptian goddess Taweret.
Moon Knight premieres on Wednesday March 30 on Disney Plus with episodes set to be released on a weekly basis.
