Musician Camela Leierth-Segura, who co-wrote a song with , has been missing for nearly two months.
The 48-year-old, who co-wrote Walking on Air, has not been heard from since June 29.
According to a missing persons page on the California Department of Justice website, no contact has been made with Leierth since that date.
Her friends have since raised their concerns and asked the public for help in finding her.
Friend Liz Montgomery took to Instagram with a picture of her ‘dear friend of over 25 years’.
She wrote: ‘We are desperately seeking information on the whereabouts of our dear friend, and sister, Camela Leierth, who may also be using the name Camela Leierth Segura.
‘Camela has been missing since June 29th, and her last known contact was in Beverly Hills, California.’
Montgomery added: ‘We are extremely worried about her safety, and despite our best efforts, the local authorities have not been able to locate her.’
‘She means the world to us and time is of the essence. Her family in Sweden is pleading for your assistance,’ she went on.
Leierth’s sister, who lives in Sweden, had raised alarm with Montgomery after not hearing back from the model, who later filed the missing persons report.
‘I’d like to think nothing bad happened, but do I think something bad happened? Yeah,’ another friend told .
According to friends, Leierth had been evicted from her apartment before her mysterious disappearance because she had been unable to pay the rent.
The Swedish-born model’s 19-year-old cat Morris is also missing.
Metro.co.uk has approached the Beverly Hills police department for comment.
