‘I am completely heartbroken. Thank you for all your love and kind words. We are reminded again that life is precious, fleeting and to cherish the time we have with the ones we love.

‘I know she is finally at peace with God. I love you BJ.’

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reportedly told the outlet that Bobbie was on probation for cocaine possession at the time of her death following an arrest in June.

Since Bobby Jean’s death, various members of the Carter family have paid their own special tributes to their beloved sister.

Angel, 36, wrote: ‘You had a great sense of humor, and a lively spirit. Growing up, I was your baby, and you were my best friend. Life wasn’t fair to you, that I know. Sometimes, it feels like you didn’t have a shot, no matter what.

‘Experiencing innocence instead of being burdened by trauma, pain, and suffering is incredibly important for children, particularly at such a young age. I know why Leslie, Aaron, and now you ended up in the circumstances that you did.

‘I share that pain we experienced during our childhood and I’m sorry you didn’t have an opportunity for a better life.’

Her mother, Jane Carter, said: ‘I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time.

‘When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private.

‘However deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater.’

‘So, I would ask the sympathetic to say a prayer for my precious eight-year-old granddaughter Bella, who previously lost her father and is now also left without her mother,’ she added to TMZ.

This comes after the Backstreet Boys member Nick was in August 2023, having by two women.

The former pop star has denied all claims of sexual assault, and in February filed countersuits against both of the latter women, claiming they were ‘opportunists’ trying to ‘destroy innocent lives.’

In August, a woman identified only by the initials AR filed a suit in Las Vegas where she claimed she was sexually assaulted by Carter multiple times in 2003.

At the time she was 15 and he was 22 and 23.

Legal documents obtained by  claim Carter provided the teenager with ‘alcohol and drugs’ and assaulted her ‘despite her repeated refusals and requests for him to stop.’

Carter has denied the recent claims, with lawyer Dale Hayes telling Metro.co.uk: Nick is pleased with A.R.’s recent filing as it will ensure that all of the currently known co-conspirators will be brought to justice together.

‘Anyone credulously covering these ridiculous claims should know that, when A.R. first accused Nick Carter almost two decades ago, authorities listened and thoroughly investigated – and then informed A.R. that her allegations were meritless. In fact, at the conclusion of the police investigation into A.R.’s claims, law enforcement concluded that A.R. “could herself have been charged with a crime.”

‘Subsequently, in a separate incident, AR was threatened with criminal charges for filing a false police report. And now she’s at it yet again. But repeating the same false allegations in a new legal complaint doesn’t make them any more true.

‘Nick is looking forward to the evidence being presented and the truth about these malicious schemes coming to light.’
