The singer, 42, enjoyed a sunny getaway to Majorca alongside her children for the first time after revealing her .
She shared a slew of sunny snaps from her break on her , including a picture that has proved offensive to some followers.
Among pictures of delicious food and picturesque churches, Paloma poses in a tiny pink bikini while lounging on a sunbed.
The swimwear has the words ‘father’ and ‘son’ across the chest, accompanied by ‘holy spirit’ on the front of the bikini bottoms.
Posted to her 735,000 followers, some were outraged by the ‘blasphemous’ bikini and shared their views in the comment section.
‘As a Christian I think that bikini is actually a bit offensive. Just too much,’ one person wrote.
Another responded to the comment, adding: ‘As an atheist I sympathise with your sentiments. The wording on the bikini is not necessary and is provocative. As a role model Paloma needs to consider this and do better.’
‘I don’t love the word placement on your bikini. It’s tacky and disrespectful,’ another said.
However, others disagreed with the criticism and were quick to praise the star for the picture.
One user wrote: ‘I love the bathing suit …. A woman’s body is holy enough to create life … Babies what is more blessed by God than that … I see the bathing suit as a outward sign to respect a woman’s body ?’
Some users also wrote about how she was ‘smashing’ single motherhood after announcing her split.
Paloma echoed these sentiments in the caption of the post where she spoke about how she ‘single-handedly’ tackled a flight with her kids along and how she feels ‘blessed in a million ways’ following the break.
She wrote: ‘Just got back from holidays in Mallorca where I realised I speak “survival Spanish” (not bad considering I wasn’t raised with my dad speaking to me in Spanish), that I can single-handedly do a flight with two kids alone, that I love the company of my kids but it’s easier with others around, that I am blessed in a million ways and will always be grateful, that everything can wait (needed to learn this), that nothing needs to be a stressful as it often becomes (stress is accumulative) and that I probably should live in a place with a warmer climate (who’s coming?).’
