The cause of death of singer has been confirmed after the legend .
The Dorset Coroner’s Office has announced that the late musician died ‘of natural causes’.
As a result, no inquest is to be held into his death.
Cattermole’s death was a huge shock to fans of the iconic pop group, with amid a heartbreaking statement from the band.
‘We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul,’ they said in a message shared on social media.
‘There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel.’
They continued: ‘We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.
‘He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us.
‘We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time.’
Cattermole was a part of S Club 7 when the group first formed in 1998, joining fellow members Jo O’Meara, Rachel Stevens, Jon Lee, Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh and Tina Barrett.
The band topped the charts throughout their tenure, scoring hits with tracks including Never Had A Dream Come True, Reach and Don’t Stop Movin’.
Cattermole was romantically linked with fellow S Club 7 star Spearritt, with the pair dating twice over the years, first getting together in 2001.
Following Cattermole’s death, : ‘I’m trying my best to hold it together but once I start, I can’t stop crying.’
Spearritt announced that she would , which will mark their 25th anniversary.
The ahead of their concerts, with Lee saying in an emotional video: ‘It’s been a while since you heard from us but, in all honesty, we’ve been in a bit of shock and it’s taken a while to find the right words to describe how we feel about losing our brother Paul.’
Stevens continued: ‘We’re just taking time to process and get our heads around it all and also taking time to share time together so we can remember Paul and all the memories we had together.’
In the tearful video, they shared that they’ve renamed the tour The Good Times Tour in Cattermole’s honour.
