has responded to a troll on her 44th birthday.
The superstar hitmaker’s birthday was on September 8 and one Twitter user sent her a message saying: ‘Happy Birthday Pink,’ alongside a photo of Suzy Eddie Izzard, suggesting the two look alike.
Just Like A Pill singer Pink responded to the individual explaining she used the situation as a lesson for her daughter Willow, 12.
Pink, real name Alecia Beth Moore Hart, told the troll: ‘It was a good lesson in ignorance.’
She also called the person ‘a nameless f***o’.
The photo of Suzy, 61, was captured last year.
Across a series of tweets, Pink said in full: ‘Thank you so much. I just showed my 12-year-old daughter your post.
‘I explained to her that I’ve never met you, I don’t know you, and I have no idea why you would go out of your way to be hateful.
‘It was a good lesson in ignorance. Thank you. I still don’t know you. Congrats. You’re no one.’
The popstar went on: ‘What these kind of people are, are anonymous, lonely, and miserable. But most people are smart, good, and rad.’
She concluded: ‘MOST IMPORTANTLY – what a wasted opportunity here.
‘There are so many pictures you could’ve chosen that were actually me that were worse than this picture, you nameless f***o. At least be creative next time dum dum.’
Earlier this year, Suzy – who is gender-fluid but prefers she/her pronouns – revealed she had of names but that she would continue to use Eddie for public-facing matters.
Announcing her , the star explained that it was a name she had wanted to give herself since she was 10 years old.
In June, she took to to set the record straight about her titles after confusion arose following her updated name.
Against a black square, the actor penned a simple message in white text that read: ‘As people may now well know, I have added the name “Suzy” to my names.
‘So going forward I am preferring Suzy but I don’t mind Eddie. And I prefer she/her but I don’t mind he/him.
‘So no one can really get it wrong unless they call me Kenneth or Sabrina.
‘I am remaining Eddie Izzard in public. Thank you. Suzy/Eddie [sic].’
