The Grease actor, 68, , and attended flying lessons when he was just 15 years old.
He went on to become a licensed pilot at the age of 22, and has given glimpses from the cockpit on Instagram many times over the years.
In a new video on the platform, he proudly stood in front of a huge plane as he shared his latest achievement.
‘Okay so, very proud moment in my aviation history,’ the pilot said. ‘To add my 747 and 707 licenses, I just received my 737 license. It went very well.
‘Just sharing my moment with you.’
John captioned the upload: ‘A very proud moment for me. I just received my 737 license.’
Right on cue, his famous friends flooded the post with congratulatory messages, hoping to be on his next adventure.
Naomi Campbell simply replied with a string of applause emoji.
