Reese Witherspoon has settled her divorce with Jim Toth, it has been claimed.
The Legally Blonde actress, 47, , 53, in March, just days before their 12th wedding anniversary.
In a joint statement shared on Instagram, for the sake of their 10-year-old son, Tennessee.
According to reports, the former couple have now settled their divorce, making their separation official.
In new court documents, obtained by , they signed a marriage dissolution agreement, as well as a parenting plan for Tennessee.
Details on the paperwork have not been made clear.
Reese and Jimand revealed their engagement at the end of the year, after a whirlwind relationship.
They tied the knot the following March, before welcoming their son together in September 2012 – the Fear star is also mom to Ava and Deacon, from her first marriage to Ryan Phillippe.
She confirmed the end of her marriage to Jim on Instagram earlier this year, with the statement reading: ‘We have some personal news to share… It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce.
‘We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together.
‘Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter.
‘These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time.’
In a candid chat with Harper’s Bazaar, her separation from Ryan was handled, compared to her recent break-up.
‘When I was divorced before, the tabloid media got to tell people how I was feeling or how I was processing, and it felt very out of control,’ she said.
‘To be able to talk to people directly about what’s going on in my life and just share it in the way that I share great professional experiences or personal experiences, it feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice and not let somebody else control what’s happening.
‘Then, of course, there’s speculation, but I can’t control that. All I can do is be my most honest, forthright self and be vulnerable.
‘It’s a vulnerable time for me.’
‘I think about how many other people are going through this experience,’ the mom-of-three added. ‘I don’t feel isolated at all. I feel very connected.’
