recently dropped the video for her new banger, You & I, and eagle-eyed fans may have noticed that at one point in the accompanying music video, a photo taken on her and wedding day is visible for a split second.
Rita, 32, wed 47-year-old director Taika last August and details about the ceremony – at which there were only three guests – have been kept largely under wraps.
But in the music video for You & I, a framed photo can be seen on Rita’s table that shows the stars exchanging vows.
Needless to say, Rita looked gorgeous in a stunning white gown and wrapped her arms around a very dapper Taika.
Rita recently admitted it was , leading to a conversation that lasted all night long.
‘We clicked straight away… And, you know, his mother also survived . We just really connected on our families and our work ethic,’ the star began sharing details of her relationship with her husband.
She continued telling : ‘It was like there was no one else at the party, and then it was like, “Oh my gosh, the sun’s coming up. What’s going on?”
‘We remained really good friends, but I had butterflies – it was a surprise, but I felt comfortable. Safe.’
The You & I singer touched on and explained how they balance mixing business with a happy home life.
Rita shared: ‘I love him in all aspects of the word… But, you know, I really respect him and admire what he does and how he has created his own style.
‘It’s so cool to work with someone you love and bounce off each other. It’s the easiest thing ever. He throws ideas at me every minute, but that’s fine – we’re both fire signs.’
During the chat, she revealed that her new album title was inspired by her wedding day and the titular track off the upcoming record was penned the day after she said ‘I do’.
‘I was like, “I just got married yesterday… I can’t think about singing about anything else apart from that.” I wanted to write the ultimate love song,’ the chart-topper highlighted.
