Second X Factor icon ‘signs up’ for Celebrity Big Brother

The British TV personality and former music manager, 71, was between 2004 and 2017.

Throughout that time, she also worked alongside Louis, also 71, with the pair competing against one another and their acts over the years.

The pair are now set to appear on screen together again after seven years, with both reported to have of the reality series.

It’s now been said Sharon is set to fly to the UK next week from the US where she lives with rocker hubby Ozzy.

‘Landing Sharon is a huge coup for the series, especially as she has such a strong on-screen partnership with Louis,’ a TV source has said.

‘She isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind and has a wealth of showbiz stories up her sleeves.

‘She is guaranteed entertainment and sure to be a hit with viewers,’ they added when speaking to.

This comes after it was reported Louis had landed a six-figure deal to move into the Big Brother house when the celebrity edition returns next month.

A source told the same publication he was ‘one of the most intriguing signings for Celebrity Big Brother because he has almost half a century of experience in showbusiness to recall when he enters the house’.

‘Viewers will be most interested in his memories of his time on The X Factor and working with huge music acts including Westlife and Boyzone.

‘But there may be a few celebrities outside the house who are feeling nervous about what he might say, because Louis is notoriously outspoken.’

ITV bosses have yet to confirm the line-up for the new show, but other names rumoured to be entering the house include former Love Island star Ekin-Su Culculoglu, former This Morning host Phillip Schofield and even his former co-host Fern Britton.

An ITV spokesperson told Metro.co.uk that: ‘Any names suggested for CBB are just speculation.’

The last season of Celebrity Big Brother aired in 2018, with former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas taking out the title.

Celebrity Big Brother returns on March 4 to ITV.
