The Irish hitmaker married Victoria – with whom he lives in Dublin – in 2018 after a decades-long relationship and subsequent 11-year engagement.
Her caption read: ‘One of my favourite pictures of our wedding which was five years ago today.
‘Getting to Copenhagen was quite an achievement and I suppose just getting through some of the stuff that we all went through to get to be still alive was a massive achievement!
‘It was a beautiful thing to feel so much love ❤️ from everyone who made it possible, a wedding is very much a collaboration.’

Shane’s discharge comes after his 57-year-old wife wrote about just weeks ago.
She wrote: ‘Love is the most beautiful and powerful thing that we can experience as humans but love can also feel painful especially if you are afraid of losing a person or anything else that you love.’
In the lengthy post, the reporter continued: ‘Sometimes when you love very deeply you will find yourself facing terrifying fears of loss that can feel so big and devastating that you don’t know how you can survive them and you can’t imagine life without this person that you love.’
