Warning: spoilers ahead for She-Hulk episode 6.

Having won her copyright case against super-strong influencer Titania () last week, in episode 6 of , Jennifer Walters () heads off for an old school friend’s wedding to cut some shapes on the dancefloor.

While it’s entertaining to watch Titania and Jennifer go head to head yet again, several fans were left asking the same question – where is , after episode five?

Considering just last week, we saw our first glimpse of Daredevil’s new superhero suit, that’s a fair question to ask, with some viewers livid and others simply bemused by the way .

Elsewhere in this week’s instalment, Mallory Book (Renée Elise Goldsberry) teams up with Jennifer’s paralegal and best friend Nikki Ramos (Ginger Gonzaga) to represent the so-called ‘Mr Immortal’, a man who ditches relationships by dying and coming back to life.

But in a concerning development, the pair also stumble across a website filled with death threats targeting Jennifer… while behind-the-scenes, it appears a weapon has been developed by adversaries that could enable them to take a sample of her blood.

Does Daredevil show up in She-Hulk episode 6?

Last week, after Daredevil’s new snazzy gold helmet was spotted in the workshop of superhero fashion designer Luke Jacobson (Griffin Matthews), many fans assumed this meant that the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen would be showing up in episode six.

However… there was no trace of the masked crusader to be found.

Instead, Jennifer told the audience during a fourth-wall break that this would be a self-contained wedding episode – admitting that while the timing of the tale was ‘inconvenient’, so are weddings in real life, insinuating that viewers just need to deal with it.

Several fans expressed their disappointment that Matt Murdock was a surprising no-show, with one tweeting: ‘Another week down with no Daredevil or post credit scene. Why are they doing this to us?’

Another dubbed the writers of the show ‘clever’ for making them question why a wedding episode suddenly took place, commenting: ‘I was like “a wedding episode? While we wait for daredevil?” And then she literally turned to the camera and called me out.’

While a number of people complained about having been led to believe Daredevil would appear, others pointed out that watching She-Hulk shouldn’t just be about waiting for another beloved character to make a cameo.

We’ll just have to see if Matt will join the programme next episode, or if he’ll end up being a treat for the finale.

Titania and She-Hulk lock horns once again

Titania did tell Jennifer that their court duel wouldn’t be the last of their sparring match, and she’s not one to break her promises.

At the wedding of one of Jen’s high school friends, Titania turned up as a guest, insisting that she was only there because she’s dating a friend of the groom.

Of course, Jen and the audience all knew this was a ruse, as Titania promptly sucker-punches a very drunk Jennifer while she’s in human form, having intended from the very start to take her on for another fight.

Eventually, Jennifer manages to transform into She-Hulk (despite some initial alcohol-induced performance issues), and knocks Titania for six once more.

Fortunately, the bride is too tipsy to care that She-Hulk has upstaged her entire wedding, as she instead celebrates her superpowered guest.

Mysterious villain targets Jennifer with ominous weapon

In a previous episode, a group of men’s attempt to corner Jennifer outside of her home went awry, when the lawyer transformed into She-Hulk and foiled their attempt to take a blood sample from her.

However, while at the time, the needle was unable to pierce She-Hulk’s skin, it looks like it’s had an upgrade.

In the final scene of episode six, it’s revealed that supposed scientists are watching Jennifer in a lab, keeping tabs on her whereabouts while also developing what looks like a superior needle… presumably with the ability to pierce her skin even when she’s in her She-Hulk form.

Still no word yet on who’s in charge of these goons, and if they’ll succeed in their villainous scheme.

Is there a post-credits scene?

Unfortunately, there is no post-credits scene this week, just like last time.

It’s uncertain whether only the first four episodes in the entire season will have post-credits scenes, considering there are due to be nine episodes in total. We’ll just have to wait and see!

She-Hulk is available to watch on Disney Plus with new episodes released on Thursdays.
