Squid Game’s HoYeon Jung set for dramatic return according to series creator: ‘Maybe she has a twin sister, you’ll see’

creator Hwang Dong-hyuk is ‘brainstorming’ ways to bring back the show’s breakout star HoYeon Jung – despite her character being Ki**ed off in season one.

The 27-year-old model rocketed to fame overnight as the Korean drama , which has resulted in 23.7million Instagram followers for the star.

HoYeon played Sae-byeok – aka player number 67 – in the survival drama which follows 456 players in deep financial debt, competing in a number of children’s games to win a grand cash prize.

Feeling like he was ‘left with no choice,’ Hwang confirmed that season two is officially in the works, and according to reports, he’s thinking long and hard about who will return.

Taking into account that most of the main cast met a tragic end, he teased to : ‘I’ll try something to bring them back [for] season two.’

When asked about HoYeon, he quipped: ‘Let’s say maybe she has a twin sister, you’ll see.’

The actress seemed to be on board with the idea as she cheekily replied: ‘I could change my hair color. Let’s do a little like plastic surgery.’
