has revealed she recently suffered from mastitis.
The singer and TV presenter, 32, regularly updates fans on social media about her and their children in their Essex home.
However fans had noticed that in recent days Stacey was not as active on Instagram as usual, when she could normally post multiple times a day , career and renovation on ‘Pickle Cottage’.
On Thursday, Stacey acknowledged that she had been ‘quiet’ in recent days and wanted to explain why.
She revealed she had been suffering from the condition mastitis, which and can cause severe pain.
‘Sorry I’ve been so quiet, I got mastitis and felt like my boobs were on fire,’ she wrote on her Instagram story.
‘It was awful,’ she admitted.
‘But after a few days of antibiotics I honestly feel like a new person.’
Mastitis causes breast tissue to become painful and inflamed and is quite common in women who have recently given birth, with Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh after the birth of her daughter.
Stacey and Joe, meanwhile, in October last year.
Despite the scare, it’s clear Stacey is feeling back to herself as she posted the update alongside a sweet video of beaming son Rex playing on a swing while baby Rose chilled out in her pram.
She went on to wish everyone a good morning and a happy Thursday, adding: ‘what a beautiful warm morning. Hope you’re ok.’
Mum-of-four Stacey shares youngest children Rex, three, and six-month-old Rose with fiance Joe.
She also has sons Zachary, 14, and Leighton, nine, from previous relationships, while Joe shares 15-year-old son Harry with ex-fiancée Emma Sophocleous.
Stacey and Joe have been together since 2015 and became engaged on Christmas Day 2020; they are set to tie the knot on the ground of their Essex home this summer.
