Summer House stars Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke have called off their wedding, two months before they were due to walk down the aisle, it has been claimed.
The Bravo pair announced their engagement last August and were set to tie the knot in Mexico, surrounded by their family, friends and co-stars.
However, in a dramatic move, it was claimed that Carl, 38, with just weeks to go.
In a letter addressed to their loved ones, obtained by , he issued an apology to those after a ‘difficult’ time.
‘Words cannot possibly express how difficult the last two weeks have been for Lindsay and I,’ he reportedly said in the note. ‘We are so incredibly sorry to all of our guests for the confusion and lack of communication. We were left trying to figure out how this all exactly happened before we could even have the opportunity to determine the path forward amongst ourselves.
‘There have been a lot of false narratives and misunderstandings that have made this all the more painful but sadly at this time we are not moving forward with the wedding.
‘The fact of the matter is Lindsay is devastated and I’m crushed with how all this transpired. I graciously ask for some patience and grace to heal and recover while we navigate this extremely difficult time.’
Carl reportedly shared his gratitude for those who had offered their support during a tough time, and vowed to help with ‘any costs associated with changing plans’.
Although it is not clear what led to their engagement being called off, he is thought to have added: ‘I’m sorry again this has become such a mess.
‘Thanks for your unconditional love and support during this tough time. Will be in touch with further updates.’
The duo have been on Summer House since the very beginning, in 2017, and took their friendship to the next level at the end of 2021, before confirming their romance shortly after.
Last August, they sent fans into a spin when they announced their engagement – and had been planning for their Mexico celebration ever since.
An insider shared the news that their wedding had been axed last month, telling Entertainment Tonight: ‘Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have called off their engagement.
‘The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn’t move forward with the wedding.’
The news may come as a shock to some as Lindsay celebrated her bridal shower just a few weeks ago, with her ex-beau in attendance.
Viewers may be getting a front-row seat into the drama, as the source added: ‘The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of Summer House.’
